Several Open PHACTS members attended the Beyond the PDF 2 Conference, which brought together academics, publishers, funders, entrepreneurs, and industry to discuss how to change scholarly communication. Nanopublications were well represented at the conference including a preconference meeting focused on the nanopublications community. Overall, it was clear that Open PHACTS is leading the way in transforming scholarship to make data more open and easily accessible.
