5th Open PHACTS Community Workshop

Amsterdam, the Netherlands – This event brought together an exciting mix of participants and organisations to discuss options for future involvement with the Open PHACTS Discovery Platform and our vision for the Open PHACTS Foundation.

The workshop featured talks describing the recent progress of the Open PHACTS project, and the up and coming API beta version 1.3. Talks showed Open PHACTS API usage in September to be higher than any other month, and highlighted use of the API within the pharmaceutical industry.

The establishment of the Open PHACTS project’s successor organisation, the Open PHACTS Foundation, was announced. Future projects, priorities and plans for Open PHACTS were discussed, and the Foundation was outlined as a unique forum for the scientific community.
