The Open PHACTS Foundation now offers young scientists the opportunity to apply for a travel grant to present scientific use cases and innovative technological solutions connected to the Open PHACTS project.

Principally, the grants are for PhD students and early PostDocs who want to present results obtained using the Open PHACTS Discovery Platform at international peer reviewed conferences.

Applications for travel grants will only be considered when an abstract/poster has already been accepted by the conference organisers. To apply, please fill in the application form, including all relevant information regarding the conference and the expected travel costs. Applications should be received by the PMU (project management office) at least 1 month in advance of the conference, together with your CV and an abstract of your presentation.

Reimbursement will require all original receipts and flight tickets. The following costs may be claimed:

• Conference fee
• Transportation costs
• Accommodation costs
• Costs for printing a poster or similar
